SureScan approached Outsource2Us at the beginning stages of business development looking for support to build the brand up from nothing more than an idea. To become Australia's leading non-destructive, structural integrity experts.
As senior creative I was on board throughout the entire process from naming through to the launch of the business, with my primary role being to establish and build the visual identity.
The first priority for this project was establishing the name and getting clear on brand strategy. After workshopping with the client a birds eye view of the brand strategy was laid out and the name SureScan was settled on.
With a name and strategic direction in place I set to work developing concepts for the visual identity, focussing first on the logo, then building out the identity, assets and brand collateral from there.
The visual identity was developed in collaboration with the client who came with ideas of a simple & minimalist direction which which aligned with their no frills approach to business.
Logo: The logo is an abstraction of a scan in progress communicating the idea through negative space. The solid letterforms add a structured and no nonsense feel, situating the identity in the target market for the services.
Logo Animation: Part of the overall brand strategy was to push for brand awareness via social media. An animated logo is a crucial element for this strategy, ensuring the the branding is activated for video content. The animation brings the logo to life, activating the implied scan in the icon and following with a straightforward type animation.
Photography Direction: To launch the brand on the right foot, a photoshoot was organised with the branded collateral and equipment at various locations around the city. This ensured a collection of image assets to populate the website and create content for social media and launch materials.

The website experience focuses on educating users on what is a fairly new technology, and understanding what SureScan’s service offerings represent. The principal goals of the website are to educate, create brand awareness and generate leads.
